# Terminal

The Terminal is STONKFUNBOT's read-only research interface. It answers questions about tokens, pairs, and market data — no account, wallet, or sign-in required.

## What you can ask

| Ask for                          | Example               |
| -------------------------------- | --------------------- |
| A specific token                 | `$GME`                |
| Newest launches                  | `newest`              |
| Highest activity                 | `top` / `trending`    |
| Tokens close to graduating       | `graduating`          |
| Already-graduated tokens         | `bonded`              |
| Available quote assets           | `pairs`               |
| What's trading against a pair    | `quoted against GMEX` |
| A wallet's holdings and launches | `wallet <address>`    |
| Platform-wide numbers            | `stats`               |

## How it decides what you mean

Terminal questions are handled by a deterministic router: a fixed set of patterns matched against your question, each mapped to exactly one read-only lookup. There's no discretion involved — the same question always routes to the same answer.

Where a model is used to help interpret an open-ended question, it can only ever choose among the same fixed set of read-only lookups. It cannot reach anything that spends, signs, or otherwise changes state. If no model is configured, or one is temporarily unavailable, the Terminal still works — questions just route through the deterministic matcher directly.

## What the Terminal cannot do

The Terminal never launches, trades, withdraws, or signs anything. Those actions require an account and go through the full [Ask → Review → Confirm → Execute → Verify](/transaction-flow/ask.md) loop described elsewhere in these docs.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.stonkfun.bot/using-stonkfunbot/terminal.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
